Greetings and welcome back and yes it has been nearly a year since I last posted on this blog but absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say. In all seriousness I haven’t been posting as I have been busy working/not working and trying to get my life in order which makes finding the time to come up with and write blog posts scarce. Those who were regular readers will notice that the Tirade section is now empty as the posts in this section were having a negative effect I felt on the perception of my character as it made me look like an angry old man ranting away about everything, I can assure you that some will be re-posted and indeed a few new rants about things will come but I shall try to have a more positive outlook and send out some more positive vibes with my posts, the TV section will of course include some rants about the poor quality of shows as TV exec’s still treat us like lab rats to be experimented on. So what has been happening in the period of my absence in the second half of 2015 since my tax rebate I have watched many many great television shows including ‘Cenk Batu’ and ‘Mafiosa’ some of the offerings on Channel 4’s new drama section entitled ‘Walter Presents’ and it’s well worth checking out if you like a good drama show as apart from the above mentioned there is a cornucopia of quality world drama available. In the real world the UK is going through some serious political changes and as of today we are weeks away from a once in a lifetime vote on our European Union membership something which I will address in a future post.
In the tech and Gaming world I have been playing many games from the disappointing Star Wars Battlefront to the latest edition of one of my favourite franchises ‘Street Fighter’ speaking of Star Wars and as a unashamed Star Wars otaku I of course went to see it and was reasonably impressed with this the latest episode (well done JJ Abrams) and even looking forward to the side stories due out later this year. Back to the games I am currently deep in a game called ‘Dying Light’ a fantastic open world zombie slaying game by the awesome Techland studio creators of the awesome ‘Dead Island’, Right now the FPS community is up in arms over the latest CoD installment and the remastering of the game that changed the entire FPS genre ‘CoD4:Modern Warfare which will be given away free with legacy editions of the new CoD from my perspective I am not so fussed about the new edition but am very excited to see CoD4 of the latest gen consoles I am also super excited for the latest Battlefield installment ‘Battlefield 1’ set in the horror of WWI which from the trailer looks amazing and is set to be the FPS game of choice this year, I am thinking of making a few vlogs on these two games which I will of course embed into this blog for your amusement.
2016 has been an very interesting year so far from an early brush with the law in January to a life changing experience in May which has not only inspired me to re-start this blog but inspired me in many ways, I have also met some great people on this course some of whom I will definitely be keeping in contact with again this was such a cool event that I am going to create a whole post on it, it will probably be the second post in this new era of my blog and for those that have been reading me for a while I am no longer going to make promises about posting and content updates as it puts me under pressure and I then panic and fail to keep up with them so I will try to post regularly but I can give no specific promises but I have some great ideas for series and posts after both this course and the first five moths of the year. Well I don’t want this update post to drag on to long it’s just to let those who get an email notification or regular readers know that they can expect to see more posts coming and that this blog is back and active once again. I am going to also transfer some posts from another old blog to this one in an effort to consolidate my online presence. As you can see it’s going to be an action/content packed second half to the year, So until next time.
