Greetings and welcome to another journal post covering the last week up to today Wednesday, well it’s been an interesting week what with the start of my Cyber Security course and my continuing health program, I have been super active, keeping myself busy. Having been watching a lot of television even for me I decided to finish off my current reading list of three books ”The Dictator’s Handbook: Why Bad Behavior Is Almost Always Good Politics” “The Prince” “The Sumerians: Their History, Culture, and Character” ”The Prince’‘ is Nicolo Machiavelli‘s classic work on power, the History of the Sumerians by Samuel Noah Kramer is an unparallelled work on this amazing ancient civilization, The final book ‘The Dictator’s Handbook: Why Bad Behavior Is Almost Always Good Politics’ by Bruce Bueno de Mesquita and Alastair Smith is a fascinating in to the functioning of modern politics all three I recommend highly.
This week I am recording a short Vlog of current events to my YouTube Channel, I am going to start making these a regular series as I find it a lot easier to talk to camera rather than write it out. These Vlogs will normally be on current events and/or my opinions on things. The weekend saw the penultimate episodes of ”Cordon” a quality Flemish drama on BBC which I have been following. Lastly this week I have been doing a lot of planning and organization which is not only really helpful in getting lots done it also makes decision making easier with a clear coherent plan you can make decisions a lot easier I find, finally I have been very hyped for the New Horizons NASA mission and our first real look in detail at the dwarf planet Pluto which was only discovered in 1930, the images from which have been amazing you can see them in my vlog below and here more about my excitement for the mission. So until Thursday’s Television review
